Hello, and welcome to the Admin Handbook!

The Staff Handbook is the result of the contributions made by multiple members of our staff team at Wings of Fire: The New World. This guide serves to gather a wide variety of information about the positions, documentation on our systems, and much more. This repository organizes the included resources, pages, and guides to make searching for and understanding as easy as possible. In reading these documents, our staff — and staff to be! — will have a great resource to collaborate, communicate, and create as efficiently as possible.

Notation Guide

Throughout this handbook, you may notice the following symbols. They refer to commands, actions, or other systems that have varying levels of impact on the server. Heed these carefully!

📗 — These are generally safe to run and/or are highly unlikely to have any negative effect on the server.

📒 — These are high level and/or have decent potential to impact the server in a negative way if used incorrectly. Exercise caution when using these commands, even if you know what you are doing.

📕 — These are dangerous to misuse, affect the player experience, or may affect or even break installed server software. Do not use these commands unless absolutely necessary, and use extreme caution if you must use these commands.

🛡️ — These require additional permissions to be executed and are not accessible by default.

✖️ — These should never be used or should only be used by operators, and sparingly at that. Do not use these without notifying other admins!
