Staff Roles and Permissions

All staff have the following permissions:

Minecraft Permissions:

  • Manage and bypass item bans
  • Create player heads (/skull)
  • View server performance metrics (/spark)
  • Inspect world logs (/co inspect)
  • Bypass chat pause
  • Bypass soft whitelist
  • Jail players
  • Manage warps and warp self and others
  • /give

Discord Permissions:

  • Add emoji and stickers
  • Timeout members
  • Mention everyone and all roles
  • Create polls
  • Create and manage events

Moderator

Describes staff members that moderate the Minecraft and Discord servers. The moderator role can only be granted once expertise is verified.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of relevant commands and their applications
  • Knowledge of server rules and expectations
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Communication skills
  • Good judgement

Minecraft Permissions:

  • WorldEdit access
  • Ban players (/ban)
  • Suspend players (/tempban)
  • Kick players (/kick)
  • Teleport entities (/tp)
  • Teleport to logout locations (/otp)
  • Mute players (/mute)
  • View private messages (/socialspy)
  • GriefDefender moderation commands
  • LuckPerms
  • CoreProtect
  • /gamemode survival and /gamemode spectator
  • Become invisible (/vanish and /zoop)
  • Manage item bans (/itembanlist)
  • Kick all players (/panic)
  • Pause and unpause the chat (/pausechat)
  • Change the player limit (/playerlimit)
  • Set the MOTD (/setmotd)
  • Update player tribe groups (/tribeupdate)
  • Get player information (/user)
  • View and modify homes of others (/home, /delhome, /sethome)

  • Mute, Deafan, and Move Voice Members
  • /ban, /kick, /mute, /slowmode and other suppressing permissions for channels and voice chats
  • Authority to administer and track warns, suspensions, and bans

Developer

Describes staff members that work on game development and technical stuff behind the scenes.

Requirements:

  • Interest in server development
  • Creativity

  • All Typewriter commands
  • /editsign
  • All singleplayer Minecraft commands
  • Command blocks in testing world
  • All parcel commands
  • /moonglobe
  • /schedule (Dreamvisitor)

  • /user
  • /velocity

Discord Permissions:

  • Manage Webhooks

Other Permissions:

  • GitHub write access
  • WordPress editor role

Builder

Describes staff members that work on in-game structures.

Requirements:

  • Building experience
  • Basic WorldEdit knowledge
  • Creativity

Minecraft Permissions:

  • All WorldEdit commands
  • All WorldGuard commands
  • /editsign (EssentialsX)
  • /unwax (Dreamvisitor)
  • /summon
  • Debug stick
  • Region management

Director

Describes staff members that help manage the team and server going-ons. These staff members are responsible for leading training sessions, ensuring tickets are resolved quickly, scheduling and leading meetings, and tracking ongoing projects.

Requirements:

  • Interest in team management
  • Organized
